Floyd Anderson was a North Dakota farmer and board member of the North Dakota Oilseed Council and the National Sunflower Association (NSA). He was president of the NSA when the Association ventured into changing federal farm policy. Floyd was an organizing member and president of the American Oilseed Coalition (sunflower, soybean, canola, flax) which successfully ushered in significant oilseed policy changes in the 1991 farm bill.
